Cooks Butte (Lake Oswego) Ivy and Blackberry Removal!

Sunday, November 9th
Hear ye hear ye!

All are invited to join Palisades Neighborhood Association on November 9 from 9a.m. to 11a.m. at Cooks Butte, to help restore this unique natural area.

Many interesting and fun native species live there, including Trillium, False Solomon’s Seal, and Bald-hip rose.

When invasive ivy and blackberry that have been plaguing these understory plants are
removed, the natives will have a chance to thrive again. Bring your all-weather work gear, and be sure to wear sturdy shoes; gloves, tools, and refreshments provided.

For further information, please contact Aulani Johnson at 503-534-5742, or via email ajohnson@ci.oswego.or.us.
